Jeep Safaris

The Wild Crest organizes game views in the Corbett National Park in Open Gypsies.

• Five Forest Zones, can be visited- Bijrani, Jhirana, Dhela and Durgadevi - the Main Corbett's Jungle Zones, with Corbett's Landscape Zone - Sitabani.
• Mostly Bijrani and Durgadevi Zones open from 1st October to 30th June. Jhirana, Dhela & Sitabani, mostly remain open throughout the year.
• Time of Jeep Safari - there are two safaris that can be taken in a day :- Morning - from 06 A.M. to 09 A.M. Evening - from 2:30 P.M. To 05:30 P.M.
• Maximum 6 persons can be accommodated, in one gypsy with one government guide. There is a limit in the number of gypsies that can enter the forest in a day. Therefore we advice you to book gypsy safari in advance (Generally, one month prior from arrival date).
• To make advance booking, names, age and gender of all persons is required. Also ID of each member is also required, who with ID card will accompany at the time of going to safari.
• For Foreigners Name, age, gender, passport number and nationality are required, for all the guests, visiting in one gypsy.
• Specific trails for vehicle are maintained to enable guest to watch wildlife at Corbett. Taking a nature guide with each gypsy is compulsory, to help tourists spot wild life and make sure that they do not lose their way inside the forest. Driving off track is not allowed for reason of safety.

Canter Safaris

Canter Safari in Dhikala Zone (from 15th November to 15th June) is organized by Project Tiger's conducted tour, which can be booked by resort's staff, if prior information available with ID Proof.

The Timing of Canter Safari in Main Dhikala Zone is as follow

Morning Departure at 06:30 AM and Arrival at 11:30 AM.

Afternoon Departure at 11:30 AM and Arrival at 05:30 PM

Elephant Safaris

The best way to explore jungle is through the Elephant Safari. The Elephant Safari is organized by private elephant and only in the periphery zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve.?

Generally there are two visits in a day, to resort's adjacent uninhabited forest, near kosi river.

One in the dawn time - 06 AM to 08 AM

Another in the twilight time - 04 PM to 06 PM

Maximum 4 to 5 persons can be accommodated, at a time on elephant back.

For busy weekend and holidays, prior booking of elephant safari is needed.
